Yoga Teachers, Please Teach!

Would you tell your child, if you don’t want to do it, don’t? That wouldn’t get you anywhere. Yoga is not meant to be casual. Yoga is meant to prepare us for life, for skillful living. It is easy to be centered, grounded, kind even,  on a yoga mat. What do we do when things are tough? How do we hold our center when the universe throws us a curve ball. Everyday we step into the unknown; its okay to let students go out of their comfort zone if they are able to skillfully­. In Anusara Yoga, we say this is the first stage of the pose and this is the second stage. There is a very good article about this subject in the HuffingtonPost this month.
